Options

Three options. Two are coming soon.

January 2027

Straight freeze

Your pet is cooled quickly and frozen without cryoprotectants. It is the simplest and least expensive option. Freezing causes ice damage, so it preserves less than a full perfusion — but it preserves far more than doing nothing, and it can be done wherever you are.

Transport

We come to you, cool your pet straight away, and carry them cold to the cryopreservation organization you have chosen, with the paperwork handled. For families who have already made arrangements elsewhere.

In the future

Chemical fixation

Aldehyde fixation locks tissue structure in place within hours, before any cooling. It is the most promising method for preserving fine structure, and the hardest to do well. We are working on it, and it is not available yet.

Why it's simpler

With an animal there is no legal death to wait on. A veterinarian can be with you, and cooling can begin within minutes. A smaller body also cools faster. The same things matter as for people — how fast we start, and how cold we keep them — and we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Questions

Can I use the service today?
Not yet. Straight freeze and transport open in January 2027. Join the wait list and we will contact you before then. If your pet is unwell now, tell us — we will be honest about what we can and cannot do.
Which animals can you take?
Dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals. Tell us the species and the weight and we will tell you what is possible.
Will my pet be brought back?
No one can promise that. Cryopreservation is a bet on future medicine. We will never tell you the odds are better than they are.
What does it cost?
We will publish prices before the service opens. People on the wait list hear first.
Does joining the wait list commit me to anything?
No. It only tells us you are interested, so we can keep you informed and plan capacity where people are.
